Hospital Log Context Menu
CONTEXT MENU in hospital log.
This CONTEXT MENU is opened by right clicking in the hospital log.  If the option selected is patient specific, it will apply to the patient on who the right click is done.  The options in the menu include:
●  The PRINT option opens a submenu with the six options shown in the picture above.  They include:
    ■  The PRINT FORM button opens a list of forms designed and maintained by the clinic where a form can be selected
    and printed.  Examples of the forms might be SURGICAL RELEASE, EUTHANASIA RELEASE, HEALTH CERTIFICATE,
    etc.  The forms can be designed with "merge" fields for the patient's name, date of birth, rabies vaccination due date,
    etc.  Client information can also be merged.  This means that when the form is printed it is complete with specific
    information making it for the selected client and patient
    ■  The WORK SHEET option prints a sheet with client and patient information and a check list of services/products for
    the species being serviced.  This option is only used if the clinic does not have work stations in the exam rooms.  It is
    generally given to a technician to enter the services and products invoiced and related information after service is complete.
    ■  The PROFILE SHEET option prints a sheet with additional patient information.  It is not generally required.
    ■  The HOSPITAL LOG option prints the list of patients awaiting service.  This list can be restricted to a single service type
    (SURGERY, WELLNESS, GROOMING, etc.) or it can list all in-patients and out-patients.

    ■  The CAGE CARD option prints a label or card suitable for adhering to a card for use as a cage card if the patient is being
         hospitalized.
    ■  The FILE LABEL option prints a label with the appropriate patient information to be useful for labeling a file folder, etc.
●  The VIEW REVENUE option opens a window displaying revenue related information for the current date or for any date past.
●  The PHONE LIST option opens a window listing all phone numbers and related information that are important to the clinic.  The list is maintained by the clinic.
●  The PRICE LISTS option has a submenu where the SERVICE PRICES or PRODUCT PRICES can be viewed.
●  The CLEAN UP option should be used with DATAVET SYSTEMS INSTRUCTION ONLY.
●  The RESTORE PATIENT RECENTLY INVOICED will re-open an invoice which was posted earlier in the day, if necessary.
●  The CHALK BOARD option opens a screen which replaces the chalk board used by many clinics to manage tasks assigned to employees.  The advantage in using the computer for this activity is the ease of updating the status of the assignments and also due to the fact that that they can be viewed and updated from any work station instead of going to a physical chalk board.
●  The PRINT MAILING LABEL option opens a submenu where a mailing label can be printed either to to the client or to the patient in care of the client.
●  The RESET FOR MULTI-USE option should be use with DATAVET SYSTEMS INSTRUCTION ONLY.
●  The CLIENT INFORMATION option displays the information on file for the selected client.
●  The PATIENT INFORMATION option displays the information on file for the selected patient.
