CLIENTS/PATIENTS screen - PATIENT related tasks.
In the above CLIENTS/PATIENTS screen, focus is on the patient grid. This enables the patient buttons and disables the client buttons. The PATIENT BUTTONS provide the following capability:

F2 - ADD PATIENT and F3 - EDIT PATIENT buttons open a data entry window where new patient data can be edited or a current patient's data can be edited.

The F4 - MED RECORDS button opens a screen displaying the medical records for the patient selected.
●
The F5 - X-RAY LOG button opens a screen displaying all x-rays on file for the selected patient
●
The F6 - LOG PATIENT button opens a screen for entering information about the service a patient who is in to receive service and/or purchase products.
Provided this is not a new patient whose file must be created in the computer, this is the first step in servicing a patient and it is generally performed by a receptionist.
● The F7 - TO INVOICE button automatically logs the patient in on the current date and with no subjective and plan information.
The INVOICE SCREEN
is immediately opened.

The F8 - MAKE APPT button initiates an appointment for the selected patient

The F9 - BOARD APPT button initiates a boarding for the selected patient.
● The F10 - ARCHIVE PET button results in the archiving of the selected patient provided it has no activity in the last two years. It can still be viewed and can later be restored to the active files if necessary.
● The F11 - UNLOG button removes the patient from the status of being logged as an in-patient or out-patient.
● The RABIES INFO button opens the window shown at the upper right where rabies vaccination information can be viewed or edited.

The WEIGHT HISTORY button displays the last six weights for the selected patient and permits editing. All weights including those older than the most recent six will be recorded in the patient's medical records.

A CONTEXT MENU can be opened by right clicking in the patient grid on the specific patient for whom the task is to be performed.
