I first met Jim Sawyer in 1992. He cold called me to see if he could come by and show me his computer program and show me how it would benefit me and my practice. He came to see me and demoed his creation. I was impressed but not convinced that I was ready for the digital age. Jim persisted and after 4 more years I decided to take the plunge. On June 26th of 1996 I had never touched a keyboard and on the 27th we were paperless. That was the first day of the worst 90 days of my life but I hung in there and learned everything about the software and how to fully utilize it. This has been the smartest thing I have ever done. I just can't tell you how much more efficient and profitable my practice has become. It's 11 years later now and I can't imagine how I ever got by without the computer system.
